Yes, that's a snake in Colson's hands. He's just a little guy, but he was pretty cute. Colson and I especially liked it when he would stick his little pink tongue out. I can imagine snaky just loved being toted around in Colson's fist.
Colson carried him around like this until I made him put him put it down. He wanted to bring it home. That wasn't happenin' on my turf. It really helped my cause when we both realized that the snake had been pooping in Colson's hand.
Meanwhile, this one is getting inquisitive about all things. Lewis is 6 months old now! I can hardly believe it.

Did you make Colson's hat? He looks so grown up now! I can't believe Lewis is already 6 months! It has gone by so quickly!!! I love looking at all the awesome pictures you take of your family and I love reading about the Rumrey adventures on a daily basis. Hope you are doing well....we need to see more pictures of you! Take care and thanks for always being willing to share your family with all of us!

i would love to get that newsletter! thanks for thinking of me!
okay, you are a brave woman....there is NO WAY I could allow Asher to pick up a snake (even a baby one) here in Arizona...there would be a HUGE chance it would be poisonous, but then again, it is the desert and you don't really live in a desert. I really believe that Asher and Colson would be great friends if they knew each other...Colson is ALL boy and Asher is too. Asher has been obsessed for the last several days about the gigantic toad that has chosen to visit our house recently. Now speaking of poisonous, it's a Colorado River Toad...imagine a big ugly toad the size of KC's hand...these things are so dangerous that Dogs can die if they lick these toads. Yeah, we had to do an emergency washing of our dogs mouths the other night because it invaded our back porch and the dogs were hovering over it barking. Too make a long story short (too late!), The toad moved to hanging out on our front porch and multiple times a day Asher has said, "see Toad, see Toad!" So we have gone outside a couple times a day to say hi to the toad...now it's gone and Asher gets a sad look on his face and says, "toad gone home." As always, love your pics.
