I'm sorry I have made you cry yourself to sleep the last 3 nights. But Mommy was ready, after 1 year, to sleep the whole night through. I have to admit, I missed your dense, sandbag weight against my chest those nights, but a mama's got to let her baby grow up. Come November, Baby, you will be the baby no more. You will be joining the ranks of your big brother by becoming a big brother yourself....to the newest little Rumrey.

Chris, if you don't want her to wake up anymore, i'd let her cry...if you don't mind, then keep getting up. Your call. It is a pain, i know. I was thankful that Lewis just kinda moans awhile, instead of heaving crying. it makes a mom feel better.

Lindsey, I sure hope you can meet Nicolson. We're hoping for that girl, but I know that God has a sense of humor. I'll be suprised if she comes along. Maybe I'm just made to raise boys for now?
(FOr the record, Nicolson is not in the running for an actual name.) Maybe a middle name. haha
Yeah...this morning she didn't get up until 6:30, so maybe she'll just naturally start sleeping in. If only!
We're hoping to add a third sometime next spring/summer, and if we have another girl, and you have another boy, maybe we could arrange a trade :). Or, like you said, maybe it's just that we parent girls/boys well.
