LOVE your photography. It's partly what inspired me to take a photography class, which has been so much fun. Question, though--what kind of lens do you have that allows you to get such low aperture numbers? Most of the ones I've seen won't go below f/3.5, but I want more blur! =)
Shay, I did get a new lens through Craigslist. It's a Sigma prime, 30mm f/1.4. It's not as sharp on the auto-focus as my 50mm when wide-open, but with it you can get more in your frame, making indoor shots easier to capture more than just a close-up.
Rebekah,You go girl! Photography is so much of a joy. I use my SIgma, mentioned above, and the Nikkor 50mm f/1.4. The low apertures really make the magic happen for me. For a cheaper option, the 50mm f/1.8 is raved about and also gives you a super low aperture to work with. Good luck.

Did you get a new lens? You don't usually shoot 30mm do you? Love these pictures, especially you and your baby girl :)
