This is what we do

If Colson had it his way, he'd be taking his naps with Lewis.
Last night KC and Colson grilled up some fabulous steaks! They were a-mazing! Thanks to the turtle bbq we received from KC's grandma when we got married. It's charcoal and produces the best grilled food. Colson helped of course.
Colson also helped me make some pie-dough today. He couldn't resist the flour on the table, and I couldn't resist telling him not to touch it. He loved it. It was messy, but he loved it. What else can I say? I'm a sucker....or maybe I'm just a fun mom that likes to say "yes"...or maybe I'm both. (What would pie-dough be without the help of an excavator anyway?) We took scraps of the dough, like we used to do when with my mom when I was little, and we sprinkled cinnamon and sugar on them and baked them up and ate 'em for a little treat.
Has anyone noticed that Colson has had that red firecoat on in every picture? It's an understatment to say he's obsessed with it. He wants to wear it everywhere, and he almost does. He's sleeping now and this is my chance to get some organizing done.

I'm more curious how a mother of two - including a newborn - has time to make pie?!? :) Amazing...
